JD Vance Bobblehead

James David "JD" Vance (born August 2, 1984) is an American politician, author, attorney, and Marine Corps veteran who has served as the 50th vice president of the United States since January 20, 2025, under President Donald Trump. Born in Middletown, Ohio, Vance overcame a challenging upbringing marked by poverty and family instability, experiences he chronicled in his bestselling 2016 memoir, "Hillbilly Elegy," which was later adapted into a 2020 film. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, including a deployment to Iraq, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and philosophy from Ohio State University and a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School. Initially critical of Trump during the 2016 election, Vance's political stance evolved, leading to his successful bid for the U.S. Senate representing Ohio in 2022. In 2024, Trump selected Vance as his running mate, making him one of the youngest vice presidents in U.S. history and the first millennial to hold the office.
